Hakim Mohammad Ijaz Farooqi said that the use of Raisins, Almonds, Roasted Gram, and Jaggery is useful to protect against the adverse effects of winter health. 


It is useful to squeeze half a lemon in hot water and mix it with pure honey and take a sip. It is useful to mix cloves, cinnamon, and ginger in hot coffee and drink it sweetened with honey.


This raises the body temperature and boosts the immune system. Besides, violet and basil tea and garlic sauce are also useful in this season.

 

 He added that in winter there is an increase in skin diseases, coughs, joint pains, and other phlegm diseases - Hakim Mohammad Ahmed Salimi said that the cold weather has a profound effect on the skin. An increase in cold causes dryness in the skin. Heaters and fires warm the rooms, but they also increase the dryness. As a result, the skin becomes even drier.

 

Therefore, in such rooms, open pots should be filled with water, thus reducing the dryness in the air. Besides, to protect the skin from dryness, it is useful to mix almond oil and rose water well (make an emulsion) and apply it on the face and hands, etc. This protects the skin from dryness. Similarly, bathing in very hot water also increases dryness in the skin. It is advisable to mix a little glycerin in water or apply olive or sole oil on the body before bathing. It does not remove the skin layers and does not cause dry itching. In this season, protect the face.

 

It is useful to mix glycerin and lemon juice in rose water for this purpose. Talking about winter precautions, Hakim Mohammad Fazal Mayo said that the real requirement to avoid the bad effects of this season is to keep yourself strong and energetic. Also, avoid sleeping in open rooms and completely closed rooms during this season. It is better to keep the lights and windows of the room open. Except for the head and face, the rest of the body should be covered with woolen and warm dry cloths according to the severity of the weather. Hakim Syed Imran Fayyaz It is very important to take care of cleanliness in this season. Take a bath with lukewarm water once a day, weak and old people must take a bath once a week. Hakim Hamid Mahmood said that poultry and hot foods should be used in this season.

 

Wake up in the morning and after Fajr prayers, do light exercise in loose warm clothes. Always keep your feet warm. He said that most of the people wear light clothes even in this season to show their strength and health which is harmful to their health. Likewise, continuing to consume cold drinks and foods is not good for your health
